Do you know what’s so special about Tuesday, November 27, 2018? It’s #GivingTuesday! Celebrated on the Tuesday following the widely recognized shopping events Black Friday and Cyber Monday, #GivingTuesday is a day to give back.

This year, we’re asking War Child supporters to make…something…anything! What do we mean?

  1. Think of something that makes you happy. Something you do on your own, or as a group. Ice Cream. Laughs. Pickles. Money. Noise. Trails. Music. Murals. Pancakes. Sweat. Art. Crafts. Harmonies. Records. Movies. Muffins. Origami. Clothes. Hugs. Pie. Beats. Smoke. Photos. Put your passion into action!
  2. Go to and find resources that will help you customize your Make______, Not War idea and how you can set up your own fundraising page on CanadaHelps.
  3. Share with friends! Go live on Instagram, create a Facebook fundraiser (example) or any other way you’d like to tell the world. Tag @warchildcan in your posts and slap #makenotwar on there to let us know what you’re making instead of war. Be sure to give us a heads up using the form below.
