Corus Quay in Toronto will be the place to be on May 4, 2017, as Brewers Plate will once again #RockThePlate for War Child. And in case an evening of unlimited samplings from an incredible roster of Ontario brewers and locally renowned restaurants and Chefs wasn’t enough, rock legend Ian D’Sa of Billy Talent will be our guest DJ. Ian will trade in his guitar for a sound mixer and will join event host Fearless Fred of 102.1 the Edge.
“I’m very proud to be involved with War Child Canada, the work they are doing to help children in war-affected communities offers hope beyond borders,” said Ian D’Sa. “Come celebrate their efforts at this year’s Brewers Plate, where you can help raise awareness for those who need it most while enjoying a great evening of all things rock and roll!”
You’ll have a chance to bid on incredible silent auction items including a signed Auston Matthews Maple Leafs jersey, tickets to sold out shows including platinum seats to Lady Gaga, and original art by Casey O’Neill. Find the full list of auction items HERE. There will also be a raffle with 10 – 50 prizes valued from $50 to $1,500, a live auction and the infamous ‘Running of the Balls’ (buy a ball to send down the crazy slide in the Corus Building. If your ball is the race winner – you win)!
And did we mention the unlimited food and beer sampling? We did? Ok.
